The West Coast 70s

The Album Show presents The Music of the West Coast 70’s - a 5 piece show band of experienced and accomplished musicians/singers, playing a setlist of bonafide hits from one of the most significant periods in the development of contemporary pop music, the ‘California’ scene from the 70’s. This period was the perfect melting pot of rock and roll, folk, pop and country music at a time that showed the emergence of the singer-songwriter. Showcasing the biggest hits of The Eagles, James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, The Doobie Brothers and many many more, this two hour plus show, featuring 4 vocalists (including Sophie Jones and Michael Carpenter) will take you on an audio and visual journey where you’ll see how interwoven the paths of these artists were, and hear a timeless catalogue of show stopping hits.
