Our host curates a variety of artists models each week, providing artists of all ability an opportunity to observe and draw from.

Undraped, semi-draped, themed. Never predictable, never boring.

Admission price includes artists materials, models fees, venue fee, 1 x glass of locally produced wine of your choice. (Additional drinks can be purchased at the Speakeasy bar on the night). Grazing platter supplied for attendees to enjoy nibbling and drawing.

Fast becoming Bathurst’s favourite  bar night, Speakeasy gives you a sneak peek inside the historic KeyStone building established in 1889.

Be our guest with complimentary door entry from 5pm - Late every Friday. 

The Lord Carr. Bar sets the scene for a regal seat to relax and unwind in style. Our bar nights celebrate class, culture, and creativity. As a guest of ours suggested, "it's the exclusively inclusive venue". 


Enjoy a Pre-Dinner Drink (Aperitif) or Post-Dinner Drink (Digestive) to accompany a selection of delights on offer from our Kitchen 


Take a walk back in time and enter through the big red doors on a Friday night and embrace our beautiful grand building. We will be delighted to greet you at the bar. We will be sure to have the cushions fluffed for your arrival. 




RFS Fundraiser

Fire Hoses

We are working with local bands, local dance school and a Sydney based Circus & Cabaret group to bring an oppourtunity for us to Band Together and raise money for some local RFS sheds close to Bathurst. 

With the help of Greer Films we are putting this lovely event together for January 26th from 12pm. 

$15 entry as all proceeds will go towards a wonderful cause. Celebrating mateship and community with music and performances. 

Enjoy Drinks from our Lord Carr Bar and Finger food (with option to order meals) from 12pm and into the evening as we dance, sing along and watch some fantastic performers. 


Victorian High-Tea

Due to the success of our Mother's Day High-Tea, we are currently scheduling a monthly High-Tea service at KeyStone 1889.

Stay tuned to the website for available dates, or subscribe to our website and we will notify you when the High-Tea calendar has been completed. 

Tickets will include a full High-Tea service set within our beautiful StateRoom Theatre. An array of hot & cold, sweet & savoury treats will be served.  

Fine Dining Tea Service Plates and A-la-carte Espresso Coffees are included within your ticket price, guests will also enjoy live accompaniment. 

Allow us to host you for an enjoyable afternoon in absolute ambience.

Harry Potter & the KeyStone Feast


Due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce tickets are now on-sale for a SECOND SHOW of Harry Potter and the KeyStone Feast.​

Mitchell Conservatorium & KeyStone are proud to present Harry Potter & The Keystone Feast.

Held on July 20th, this wizarding world event will be a musical and culinary delight! Keystone 1889 (formerly Carrington House, Bathurst) will be transformed into the Great Hall of Hogwarts for a feast of magical proportions!

Dine on delicious share platters and enjoy a specially prepared wizard potion cocktail from the 3 Broomsticks Bar, as you listen to the incredible Mitchell Orchestra perform the iconic music from the Harry Potter movies.

Dress in all of your wizarding robes, and make sure you bring your wand, as the magic of Hogwarts unfolds!
